On Tuesday, August 27th, our partners Upstate Medical University & Joslin Diabetes will host a “School Diabetes Education Day.”

9:30 – 10:30AM Glucose Monitoring, Presentation with Q&A
10:30 – 11AM Insulin Administration, Presentation with Q&A
11:10 – 11:40AM Pump and CGM Options, Presentation with Q&A
11:40 – 12:10PM Hypoglycemia and Activity, Presentation with Q&A
12:10 – 1:10PM Pump and CGM Companies Breakout Session
1:10 – 1:40PM Carb Counting Review, Presentation with Q&A
1:40 – 2:10PM After Hours Activity and Supervision, Presentation with Q&A
2:10 – 2:30PM Language of Diabetes, Video and role play
2:30 – 3PM Diabetes Scenarios, Surveys, Q&A
Parking will be reimbursed if you use the hospital’s East Garage, access from either Elizabeth Blackwell Street or Sarah Loguen Street.
CEUs Nurses who attend will receive 4.5 CEUs by the end of the day. Must provide work email.
