Breakthrough T1D Walkers can now download the new Breakthrough T1D Walk to Cure Diabetes iPhone/iPad app from the Apple App Store and do their Walk fundraising on the go! Users can use the app to register for any Breakthrough T1D Walk, track their fundraising progress and boost their fundraising by getting the word out to their network through Emails, Texts, Tweets and Facebook messages.

The Breakthrough T1D Walk app, developed by Breakthrough T1D San Diego volunteer Niket Sourabh, allows walkers to sign in using their Breakthrough T1D Walk Participant Center login information and access their fundraising status. In-app integration with Twitter, Email, SMS and Breakthrough T1D Facebook application makes it easier for walkers to send donation reminders to their contact list.
