We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for children and teens to make a meaningful impact in their community! On behalf of Breakthrough T1D, we invite you to join the Breakthrough T1D Youth Ambassador (YA) Program. This empowering program is designed to teach young leaders to advocate for and raise awareness about type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Why Join the YA Program?

The YA Program is more than just an educational experience—it’s a journey of growth, connection, and fun! Participants will:

  • Build Confidence: Learn to share your T1D story with pride and purpose.
  • Develop Leadership Skills: Gain tools and techniques to inspire and lead within your community.
  • Connect with Peers: Collaborate with fellow T1D youth and their families, fostering lifelong friendships.
  • Support a Greater Mission: Help advance the mission of Breakthrough T1D by spreading awareness and understanding of T1D.

Who Can Participate?

The program is open to:

  • Children and teens living with type 1 diabetes, from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Siblings of children with T1D who want to support and engage in this incredible community.
