Emma McCarty is the Team Captain for Peace Cure Emma.  Emma was diagnosed with T1D on November 8, 2006 at the age of 2 years old.  Jennifer McCarty is Emma’s mom and the current Board President for Breakthrough T1D Central Oklahoma.  Peace Cure Emma has raised $3,370!  They have raised a lot of their money by sending emails through the participant center and installing the facebook app!  Today’s Team Week Challenge is for teams to send 20 emails through the participant center.  It’s not too late to start sending those emails!  Congratulations to Emma and her team!
