About the speaker:

Kate Hall, 23, is an American track and field athlete specializing in the long jump and sprint. Hall was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 10. Hall graduated from Lake Region High School in 2015, where she achieved national acclaim during her senior year when she broke the national high school long jump record with a leap of 22-5. Hall competed in the final of the long jump where she qualified for the final at 2016 United States Olympic Trials. Hall now serves as the Assistant Coach for D3 Track and Field team at Saint Joseph’s College as she prepares for the Olympic trials.
