About Brody
Brody Paine, now 17, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at age 13 in 2020. Brody is a Senior at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco and competes in both Varsity Water Polo and Swimming. This fall Brody will attend Brown University to study Applied Math and Data Science and play Water Polo. Brody will speak on behalf of millions of people affected by T1D. We thank Brody for sharing his story and experiences, simply and honestly, with all of us at the Breakthrough T1D San Francisco Hope Gala 2025.
