This National Volunteer Week, April 7-13, 2019, Breakthrough T1D celebrates the passion and dedication of our inspiring volunteers! Breakthrough T1D was founded by families and volunteers who wanted to create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D) and ever since, volunteers have been at the core of everything we do. From the International Board of Directors to the Children’s Congress delegates taking on D.C., this summer, Breakthrough T1D volunteers are making a difference. Our volunteer partners are invaluable members of the T1D community who drive research progress, advocate for government action and enrich the lives of families impacted by T1D. Thank you for the vital role you have played in all major T1D advances – drug, device, cell research – in the last 40 years – improving lives and bringing us closer to our ultimate goal of a cure.
We are thankful to our more than one million volunteers and supporters — this week and always.
