T1D Caregiver 101 Virtual Course

Parents, grandparents, babysitters, camp counselors and other caregivers
can learn basic skills for the management of type 1 diabetes (T1D).
This workshop, presented by Colleen Clark Chuo, RN, MA, CDCES, and in partnership with Michael’s Miracles is geared to offer confidence in managing a loved one’s diabetes while in their care.

•Checking blood sugar
•Signs of high and low blood sugar
•Illness
•Exercise
•Administering glucagon T1D
