About the Gala
The Breakthrough T1D Hope Gala was held on Saturday, November 2nd at the MGM National Harbor. Close to 600 prominent philanthropic community leaders came together to raise critical funds for type one diabetes (T1D) research. The evening featured a fantastic silent auction, a gourmet dinner, an exciting live auction, inspiring stories from those affected by T1D, and a lively after-party, featuring live entertainment from Trademark. 6:00PM – Cocktail Hour and Silent Auction
- Silent Auction: The Breakthrough T1D Gala auction is like no other! Featuring more than 150 packages, including once-in-a-lifetime experiences, luxury items, and unique opportunities, this is an auction you won’t want to miss.
- Mobile Bidding: Mobile bidding will be used during the Gala’s silent auction. Guests attending both in-person and remotely may bid directly from their smartphone–anywhere and anytime! You will receive a text message in the days leading up to the event with information on how to begin bidding. Bid early and often right from your fully charged smartphone!
7:30PM – Seated Dinner, Live Auction, and Fund A Cure
