  • Community Summit 2025

    The Breakthrough T1D Community Summit is an educational and networking opportunity for all those impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D). This year, the Breakthrough T1D Community Summit will bring our community together to learn from T1D experts, hear about the latest breakthroughs in T1D research, meet vendor exhibitors, connect with others impacted by T1D, and more. The educational program and conversations will be geared towards an adult audience, but we do have space in our limited Youth & Teen Programming available.  We look forward to having you join us! Please reserve a spot for each guest who will be attending (including children) using the appropriate ticket type. Interested in volunteering at Community Summit? Sign up here. 2025 Walk Launch Party If you walked with us in 2024 or would like to learn more about Breakthrough T1D One Walk, join us immediately following the Summit to commemorate a great walk season and prepare for 2025! The Launch Party will be held 1:00pm-2:00pm at Kean University, 6th Floor and will include a mission update, 2025 walk news, lunch and more!   • Breakthrough T1D Community Summit Bethesda

    The Community Summit (formerly TypeOneNation Summit) is free community event for anyone living with or caring for a person living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Join your T1D community for a morning of support, education, and connection. You’ll hear updates on research and advocacy, participate in interactive breakout sessions, and visit with device companies, camps, and others in the T1D Resource vendor hall. Whether you are family who is dealing with a new diagnosis, an adult who has lived with T1D for many years, a grandparent or caregiver, or a diabetes health care professional, there will be something for you! Kids and teens (grades K-12) are invited to participate in our Youth and Teen program running concurrently with the main program. Admission is free, but advance registration is required. Space is limited for the Youth and Teen program.
