• Please tell us a little bit about your family member who has Type One Diabetes. My 19 year old daughter Caleigh Blazis is a T1D.
• How old were they when diagnosed? She was diagnosed at age 10. How old are they now?   She is now 19.
• How has Breakthrough T1D helped your/their circumstances? Breakthrough T1D has always been great, but was especially at the time of Caleigh’s diagnosis.  They sent us a “Bag of Hope” with lots of information and a Rufus teddy bear for Caleigh.
• How do you feel about Ford’s relationship with Breakthrough T1D?I am so proud that Ford works hard to help fundraise for Breakthrough T1D.  The research Breakthrough T1D helps to fund is working toward a cure, but has resulted in a much better quality of life for Caleigh in the last 9 years.  Ford works tirelessly to host numerous events to fundraise.
