Children ages 5-12 can look forward to an exciting, safe, and educational day at TypeOneNation on Saturday, February 25th!

The Kids Zone opens at 8:30am and the fun begins with a Disney pompom routine from the Taft High School Competitive Pom Team at 9:00am followed by crafts, games, and face painting until 11am.

The JG Reptile Show with Jim Galeno begins at 11am and runs until lunch at noon. Jim has worked with both the Milwaukee Zoo in Wisconsin and Brookfield Zoo in Illinois, so you can expect an informative and entertaining experience with reptiles from all over the world.

After lunch, children will watch an interactive, animated video from Slam Dunk for Diabetes where Coach and Water Boy give tips on how to eat and stay hydrated for safe exercise and to prevent hypoglycemia.

The final activities of the day are with Magical Myster AJ who is back after a very popular show last year! Following the performance, he will lead a balloon workshop where the children will learn how to make their very own balloon animals!

The Kids Zone will close at 3:00pm to coincide with the conclusion of TypeOneNation.
