Breakthrough T1D Community Summit – Cradle of Aviation

Breakthrough T1D’s Community Summit is an educational and networking opportunity for all those impacted by type 1 diabetes (T1D). This year the TON Summit will bring our community together to learn from T1D experts, hear about the latest breakthroughs in T1D research, meet vendor exhibitors, connect with others impacted by T1D, and more. We look forward to having you join us!

This event is held at the Cradle of Aviation in the Atrium and Planetarium Dome Atrium. All attendees will receive a full day pass the museum following the program!

Please, reserve a spot for each guest who will be attending using the appropriate ticket type.

All attendees will get all day access to the Cradle of Aviation Museum following our program. Must register and attend to receive the pass.

    10:45am – 11:15am : T1D Travels: Exploring the World with Confidence and Care presented by Dr. Jill Young

    11:15am – 11:45am : Bringing Wisdom to Life with Diabetes presented by Peter Friedfeld, Cofounder of Diabetes Sangha

    11:45am – 12:00pm : Closing Remarks and Send off

The Cradle of Aviation Museum is part of Nassau County’s Museum Row and is located on Charles Lindbergh Blvd. in East Garden City next to Nassau Community College.

Driving Directions Meadowbrook Parkway to exit M4, follow signs to Museum Row which will put you on Charles Lindbergh Blvd, stay on Charles Lindbergh Blvd. to the second traffic light and turn right into the parking lot.

Public Transportation Bus: The N16 Hempstead-Rockville Centre bus route stops almost directly in front of the Museum. Train: Taxis available from the Garden City, Mineola, and Westbury LIRR stations.
