The Breakthrough T1D Greater New England Chapter is proud to be an official member of 2025 Bank of America Boston Marathon® Official Charity Program. Through this program, the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) supports selected nonprofit organizations that strengthen our local community and provides these organizations with a significant fundraising opportunity. In 2024, athletes participating in the 128th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America on behalf of a nonprofit organization raised $45.7 million.

Breakthrough T1D is a top performing charity team of runners who are united in the common purpose of creating a world without type 1 diabetes. Already have a spot in the race? Register as Breakthrough T1D Supporter! Participants who have secured their own entry into the marathon are welcome to join our team at anytime. While there is no fundraising minimum, we do have a suggested fundraising goal of $2,000.
