2022 Rock the Cure to honor Jack Womack with the Spears Mallis Rock Star of Hope Award

With the return of our popular Rock the Cure summer fest event, the Breakthrough T1D Georgia Community and the Young Leadership Committee will honor one of its longtime supporters, Mr. Jack Womack. Jack has been a steadfast volunteer and donor for Breakthrough T1D Georgia for many years. He served on the Board of Directors, including a 2-year term as Board President, has served as the Hope Gala Co-Chair, One Walk Corporate Chair… the list goes on and on. Jack has also sponsored and supported Rock the Cure in countless ways. He has been a mentor for the Young Leadership Committee and big supporter of their Rock the Cure efforts. Jack and his family have been a real driving force for the event’s success! In 2019, Rock the Cure hit its highest revenue of close to $250,000 in part to avid supporters like Jack. When speaking about Jack’s involvement and support of Rock the Cure, Spears Mallis says, “Jack has been my biggest cheerleader for Rock the Cure. He has always supported the event and promoted the event to the Board and Breakthrough T1D community. Jack’s energy and passion for T1D is contagious, and I am honored to call him my friend and warrior for T1D.”
