Palm Research Center is currently offering a clinical trial opportunity for adults and children with type 1 diabetes investigating a faster acting insulin to see if it improves blood glucose control.

Adults qualify for the clinical trial if they:

• Are 18 years of age or older
• Have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least 1 year
• Are currently treated with both meal time insulin and long-acting insulin (the same trial with be offered to those using insulin pumps in July. Contact Palm Research Center at the numbers below for more information)
• Have an A1c between 7.0 – 9.5%

A child may qualify for the study if they:

• are 1 to 17 years of age
• have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes
• are currently treated with both fast acting and long acting insulin
• have an A1c below 9.5%
