On September 12, Aaron J. Kowalski, PhD, CEO of Breakthrough T1D, formerly JDRF, the leading global type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and advocacy organization, will co-chair “Do devices really help the person with diabetes?”, a symposium at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) annual meeting in Madrid, Spain. Dr. Kowalski will be joined by Dr. Tadej Battelino, Consultant and Head of the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology at UMC Ljubljana, who will also chair the event.
